Our dear friend Luis Perez (AKA HarlemKnite) passed away on June 18th in a tragic accident along with his faithful companion, Romeo, his wife's service dog. This page is being setup to honor his memory and also as a means to help raise funds for his family's needs during this time. We will be adding stories, memories, videos and other content to the site as time goes on. Luis loved his wife and family very much and spoke of them regularly. He was loved by his Twitch community, the Chess.com membership, his K.O.S.T chess club, and countless others. Being a USMC Veteran, his country, freedom, and fellow serviceman meant a lot to him. He left an impact that will never be forgotten with his care and love for others. He invested countless hours doing fundraisers for worthy causes and charities. His discipline and example were an inspiration to many as he always encouraged people to keep going. His love and devotion to Jesus Christ were obvious as he shared his faith openly in his online content. He will be sadly missed. Please continue to pray for his wife, family and friends as they mourn the great loss of this man, and also Romeo.

If you are a family member or personal friend of Luis and would like to share pictures or stories with this community, please contact us here and we would be glad to add that content to this page and make it available for the online communities.
